How to spoil excellent beer and food? Service. We were looking forward to the establishment, as we always have in the years so far, but we left with the impression that next time we might try to go elsewhere, even though the choice of good establishments in Prievidza and Bojnice is quite limited. I was surprised to find that there were only 2 tables occupied at 8pm on a Saturday night, we were the third, and the fourth eventually filled up, but at such a busy time I would have expected us to struggle to get a seat, as we have so far almost always year to date, whether in summer or winter. I noticed when one of the ladies brought us a beer and served it to us while standing firmly in one place in a way that we were supposed to take it from her in our hands and with an unpleasant expression on her face in a way that we seem to delay taking it. we won 't take it ourselves, and that right away. The waiter is supposed to land the beer on my beer stand without me having to move it 's the waiter 's job to deliver it to me, not mine to go pick it up, we 're not at the Packet pick up point, nor at the bar near the football field somewhere in the village, but still in Panský pivovar. I note that with 2 4 occupied tables, there were 4 people from the staff, 3 ladies and 1 gentleman, I doubt that any of them are over 21 years old, but it should not matter at all. Youth could be an added value due to energy, here it is exactly the opposite. What disappointed me the most was when we wanted to order another beer for some time, we tried to make eye contact with the waiter and several of us literally stared at one of the waitresses, our eyes met, we addressed her verbally...and nothing. Not only did she not respond directly, but she also did not send us a colleague. We 've never had anything like this happen here. With a bill of about €78, we left €85 with the tringelt, as the beer and food were great, but if I could, the entire tringelt goes to the brewer for the beer and to the kitchen for the food, because the service itself did not deserve a penny. If I have reputable guests who not only drink beer and specials as if they are not drunk, but also have dinner and even better spirits, I should fly around them (when my business is very understaffed), take care and be available for a simple professional reason to achieve the highest possible sales and customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, they don 't know that at the moment, we would like to spend more, but we would also have to feel good that we are taken care of. Last round at 22:30 and then close on Saturday at 23:00, even if you still have guests, I honestly don 't understand that, but I do understand the observance of the official opening hours (on Google Maps it 's even wrong that Saturday is only until 22:00) and the rent after we didn 't even mind leaving the other things. Perhaps it was just a bad day when the staff had a fight with each other or something, rather than a long term trend, because it would be a real shame if this place lost its name just because of a bunch of inexperienced people.
If you are in Bojnice and you like beer and beer food, don't hesitate. We were here three times during our stay and were satisfied three times. It was full in the evening, but a table was found (it's better to make a reservation). The service was excellent, kind and professional, especially the waiter who served us. The beers we tasted 12 Orol, but also Ipy had a good taste, just chilled and well tapped. The dishes are suitable for this restaurant. Well styled and everything we ordered was delicious. Considering that the restaurant was full, they brought them quite early. I can recommend the tartare made from Olomouc curds, with which they serve excellent toast. Despite the fact that it was made with oil, it was not greasy at all. Thanks to the staff, atmosphere and beer, this restaurant brewery definitely belongs to the top in Bojnice, but also in Slovakia.
