Casa Dacilor - Boița

Excellent food, especially the fresh and tasty season salad. Prompt and friendly service. A treat for any traveller!

We went there to eat at 2:00 am. Great traditional food cooked like my grandparents would cook it for me. Clean, rustic house. Serving was more then ok. However, the music was :( I cant give them 4 stars just fort that. We felt perfect ;)

This restaurant is located outside Boita, a village very close to Sibiu route to Valcea. I passed several times around him but I was not "inspired" to go in. So do not let the appearance to trick you, you will be surprised by the interior and menu with Romanian food in general and the interior fireplace in the center, with a bell that goes off smoke. The food is good, at an average price and varied.

The food was very good, but the owner of the place is extremely unpleasant. I spilled the dog's water and he made a big fuss about it, saying he cannot hire another person to clean my mess. Their POS rejected two of our cards and they made us feel as if we were poor people with no money. As good as this place looks, I would not come back here because of its owner. I would not recommend it.

Hanul Dacilor is probably the best place to eat in Romania on the side of the road. You can find a wide variety of traditional dishes for incredibly low prices. The restaurant is also very clean and nicely decorated.
