Service and atmosphere are great, and the **** mary was delicious. But the food really missed the mark. Very bland, chicken was greasy, egg was overcooked, gravy was underseasoned and heavy. The waffles were great but you really have to try to screw up a waffle. We probably won't return.

Best fried pickles I?ve had, Mac and cheese waffles and spicy chicken was da bomb. I would highly suggest this place to anyone. If you don?t know southern food, this is the top of the chain from my experience in Houston for a couple years! Also try the cauliflower deep fried appetizer too! So amazing

Cute little place if you wanna go out to eat downtown. Our server was really nice and tried to help us out to the best of her ability. Booked a reservation and was sat right away, the unfortunate part was that my friends chose to sit outside on the patio. (Which was decorated elegantly. it was nice at first but when the sun was setting it was cold and windy and we asked our waitress if we could move inside but due to our mistakes it was an hour wait to get seated inside : she did try her best and even offered a blanket to us too, which I thought was very sweet. We decided to just get our stuff to go so we can go home and eat where it was warm. Waitress was really nice and understanding too. My only complaint would be to put some sort of heaters outside that way more people can enjoy the patio. But over all good experience and tasty food ???? I?ll be going back !

Let me tell you I am from South Carolina, so I?ve had my fair share of southern food. On top of that my boyfriend is a trained chef.. This was some of the best food we have ever had! We were in and out in 45 minutes. Service was great and food was even better!! The fried chicken was perfect and delicious and the grits were incredibly creamy. If you love pickles I highly recommend the fried pickles for an appetizer. Not to mention it?s so hard to find good sweet tea in the north, but the sweet tea here was perfect!! We will be back!

We wanted to try this restaurant so we went for lunch. The place was almost empty, just a few tables were filled. Our waitress was quiet with no smiles but, she did her job. The food was okay. We both had chicken. My hubby said his chicken tasted like it cooked the day before. My chicken sandwich was hard and hard to eat. The macaroni and cheese was good but, not hot. The meal was fair but, nothing to write home about.
