I had a fantastic experience! On a Friday evening, there was a long line, but it moved quickly. The prices are very reasonable, and the tacos were amazing, paired nicely with some cold beer. I'm always on the hunt for good tacos in Boise, and Tim Roof really delivered. I’ll definitely be back for more tacos! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tin Roof Tacos:
There are many different choices . Personal opinion is the seasoning is a little bit boring. Most of the flavor is salty. Don’t have many other flavor like sour or sweat. However the chips amount is lot and can be satisfied View all feedback.
I love it when I come across little gems like this! Really tasty food at a reasonable price. Because the little street tacos are smaller, you can have the flexibility to try multiple awesome flavors! We were visiting from out of town and I WISH we had somewhere like this where I live. I would go here again anytime.Food: 5/5
Pretty standard tin roof taco experience I would say! There was a line out the door as to be expected around lunchtime. Probably only stood in line for five minutes or so. Plenty of seating inside and the turnover is pretty quick even if it’s full. My personal favorite tacos are the number one the number two and the number four. The chips and salsa is also delicious, they make the salsa in house. Don’t forget the salsa and habanero sauce in the squeeze bottles that you can find on the tables. Great place for some quick tacos!
I recently dined at this local restaurant and was pleasantly surprised by the service. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly, making my dining experience all the more enjoyable. However, I can 't say the same for the food.I ordered the tacos expecting quality meet and instead was served tacos con ground beef. I was disappointed by the lack of authenticity in the dish. I specifically ordered Pico de gallo tacos, but the only galló that I saw was onion and cilantro. Pico de gallo traditionally includes tomato and jalapeños, so they went skimpy on me. To add insult to injury, the piece of lime that came with the taco was as small as my pinky nail, and I mistakenly chomped on it thinking it was a piece of onion.I was expecting authentic Mexican tacos made with rib-eye beef as they should be, but instead, they were filled with baked breaded chicken. These were definitely tacos a la Boise and not tacos from the south. While the tacos were tasty enough, they were a far cry from the real deal.In conclusion, while the service was awesome, I wouldn 't recommend this restaurant if you 're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine.
Chips are too salty. The tacos were great and delicious. Service was friendly.Food: 4/5
