man, I shared a special Valentine's Day couple dinner. the foods and drinks were great and surpassed our appetite! we chose the salted caramel toffee dipping for dessert (image) that was fantastic. the service was fast, friendly and efficient. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Melting Pot Boise:
I need to make clear that the service was as good as possible under the circumstances. Apparently people called sick and even the bartender was attending tables. Our server was kind and very nice, but the waiting between courses took too long. The food was good. The price... not worth it. We’ve had good experiences here in the past, but our server this time provided poor service. When she was there, she was friendly, but we saw her only a handful of times during the 2+ hours we were there. Our requests for replacement cutlery was never fulfilled, our drinks (including water) were never refilled, we had to remind her of our order when only part of it arrived, and she requested we pay when our dessert arrived making us feel very rushed. I recognize that this was a holiday and the restaurant was busy, but the service being provided to tables around us by other servers was vastly superior.
It was a great experience out. The cheese and chocolate were of course the big hits. Surprisingly the meat boiled in the broth was delicious. The entire family had a great time.
Great Mother’s Day weekend visiit! It was crowded but we never felt like we were waiting for anything. Service was prompt and the staff were very responsive! Can’t wait to return!
