The manager and chef were extremely accommodating at this restaurant! They were able to include vegan options on the menu for us. We tried the pumpkin soup, fresh rigatoni, and zucchini risotto, all of which were delicious. The bar/lounge area is also a great spot for drinks. We were advised to inform them about our vegan diet when making a reservation, and they went above and beyond to provide more vegan options for... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Lively:
The Lively, while visually unique and splendid—leaning toward the eclectic and abstract expressionist—flopped a bit when it came to expedience of service and course-schedule, and our third course was an extreme disappointment, due to a last-minute change of course and a total lack of flavor—namely salt and garlic. Would recommend as an experience for the visual senses, but for quality of food and timeliness of servic... View all feedback.
The experience at this restaurant was fantastic! The food was tasty, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely.
I took my mother here for her 64th birthday. She lives in Portland and has high standards for food, creativity, and presentation. I was not disappointed with our Boise cuisine scene. She absolutely loved it! I was afraid it would be crowded during TreeFort week, but we were fortunate to get a table and the experience was outstanding. The timing of the meal was perfect, with each course served just right. The food was hot and beautifully plated. The entire experience was delightful. The service was exceptional! Our server and all the staff were friendly, relaxed, and attentive. We were very impressed. Thank you for making my mother's birthday dinner so special.
We really enjoyed the food and drinks at Therapy! The cocktails were interesting and made with fresh ingredients. The food had a variety of flavorful and creative tastes.
Great date night with my wife and enjoyable experience.
Our first time to dine at The Lively. My son, who gave us the gift certificate, told us ahead of time that a good friend of his mentioned the food is salty so make sure we ask for ‘light salt’. Needless to say, we forgot. We ordered the grilled octopus for our appetizer which was very tasty. For our main course we both ordered the wagyu culotte with a side of pommes puree and arugula salad. Both sides were good but the wagyu was very salty. I kept drinking water after every bite just to get through the meal. For dessert we went for the crème brûlée and thought it was very good. All in all, we enjoyed our meal and would go back, but have to remember to ask for ‘light salt’.
