to say that it was a wonderful culinary experience simply not cut. it was different from any other culinary experience my man and I had! they had all very well. when we were finished with a thing, they were there to clear our tellers and bring another one, and it wasn't like a uh, they finished it! but we had a few minutes between the tellers to settle the food before the next ding came out. the gentleman who plays p... I was disfigured that the steaks looked good, but we're just cut. au gratinkartoffeln were not better. scallops were in the middle raw. service was great and the piano was perfect for our jubilee party. View all feedback.
Ambiance is 10/10. Loved the piano player he was amazing. The salad table service was great and the soup was good. The NY steak and elk entree were not good at all. They were both super, super bland including the seasonal veggies. The creme brûlée top was extremely thick and very hard. The whole top was removable from the creme like a large piece of hard candy. Coffee was just OK. I would 100% be back as long as they had a different chef. It’s a really lovely place to be it’s just the food was not impressive at this visit.
Celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary this evening with dinner at The Brickyard, based on a friend's recommendation. So happy we went! Our server Skyler was attentive, personable, and kind. He perfectly capped off the day with his warmth and attitude. The food was pretty spectacular too! From the onion soup and crab cake appetizer, to the salad and rolls. The highlight, however, were the entrees, with the Ribeye and Halibut prepared expertly. We ended up too full for dessert, but were presented with a complimentary dessert to take home. We will definitely be back, and encourage our friends to do the same!
We went to the Brickyard to celebrate a special birthday. The service was great and the food was good. The Alaska halibut was delicious as were the steaks. The only reason for a 4 instead of 5 was because all 3 steaks were ordered medium rare and all came out medium. The piano man was great and so friendly. He even takes requests. I would recommend giving it a try.
Hands down the best dining experience I have had in Boise to date. We had made a reservation and the restaurant honored it perfectly. I want to start off by saying the service was amazing! Ben was our waiter and he was very attentive and made us feel like we were his only table that night which was amazing considering the restaurant was fairly busy at the time. My partner and I each ordered different items from the fixed price menu. $40 for a salad/roll, main course, palate cleanser, and a desert. We also ordered a drink which was a little pricey $16) but it was made with care and they definitely did not skip on the alcohol so it made it worth it. I ordered the salmon as my main and it was super good. The sauce was delicious and the mashed potatoes that were paired with it added a nice touch. The Brickyard definitely knows how to mash a potato! My partner had the pork which was sweet and juicy, just how she likes it. Finally, since it was my partner's birthday, she was given a baked Alaska for dessert and it was heavenly. Overall I highly recommend stopping by for a lovely dinning experience in Boise!
Best steak I’ve had in my life. It was cooked to perfection. I love the dry rub seasoning with a slightly grazed crust with a tender inside. The rolls are amazing. You start off with the soup/salad, rolls, a nice lemon sorbet to cleanse the pallet before the main entree… such a great experience. Definitely will be visiting again when I’m back in town.
