We were staying at the hotel and noticed this place, we love Indian food and honestly had low expectations for a hotel joint. We were definitely wrong. What User doesn't like about Saffron Indian Grill:
The service wasn't all that great. It seemed there was just one person working to accept payment and take orders. Although it was dead when we went, we still didn't get service or asked if we wanted more water. The food was okay. The hubby got the chicken Tikka Masala and said it was dry. He was very disappointed, because he loves Indian food.I got an okra dish, which I thought was good. It was a tolerable spice level... View all feedback.
Absolutely amazing food. Great environment and amazing service. Our server Kay was very knowledgeable about the menu and absolutely amazing. Helped me pick out my whole meal. I’ve never had Indian food before and was so surprised. Definitely something to try!
The service left much to be desired. It seemed like there was only one person handling both orders and payments. Even though the restaurant was quite empty when we visited, we still felt neglected and weren't even offered more water. The food was just mediocre. My husband ordered the Chicken Tikka Masala and found it to be dry, which really disappointed him since he enjoys Indian cuisine. I tried an okra dish, which I thought was decent and had a tolerable level of spice, but it definitely wasn't the best Indian food I've had. The Samosas and Mango Lassi were quite good, but we won't be returning just for those items.
I share the sentiments of previous reviews regarding this place. The garlic naan was excellent, but the meat portions were quite small. My dish was tasty, but unfortunately, the lamb I received was actually beef. I'm quite familiar with the taste of lamb since I eat it often, so this was disappointing. Typically, you can gauge a restaurant's quality by the number of customers it attracts.

The server Kay was delightful and personable and made some great recommendations. All for very reasonable prices. Would definitely visit again.
Ordered the chicken vindaloo and it wasn’t that great. The portion was very small, maybe 4 oz, in an orange gravy, that tastes a bit like sweet and sour sauce and spice, and not much else. Also, the menu said it’s with potatoes and onions, and yet there was only chicken and that was all. I called the manager (as we had takeout) to explain the error, and she said it was no error, just menu was translated incorrectly, and states also that many dishes don’t have what menu says. She said she would communicate with owners a request to update menu in the future. I told her that doesn’t help me at all, and she said sorry, owners don’t offer any discounts.
