The restaurant is quite decent and spacious. The food was good, and I had a great time with my friends. The atmosphere was clean and comfortable, with enough space between tables, so you don't feel crowded by other groups. However, like some other Thai restaurants, they seem to be skimping on the vegetables and focusing more on the protein. View all feedback.
What B M doesn't like about Pad Thai House:
Portions have shrunk considerably, especially for lunch. Sweet and sour chicken had a few pieces of chicken spread over a plate with a few vegetables. Fresh rolls small and mostly noodles. People behind us watching Asian soap opera painful to try to eat while listening to that. Let the server know but nothing was done. Slow service, very few people in the restaurant. Ate there today for lunch. The food was wonderful. Mongolian beef, spring roll, Pad Prik King, served nice and hot from the kitchen with fried rice. Washed it down with a nice Tsing Tao. Service was very good and our attendant explained a dish at a different table that looked great. We have eaten there before and will surely go many times in the future.
Super bland food. Ordered oolong tea and they only put in one tea bag in the kettle for 2 people. Super disappointing.
We have been wanting to try this place since moving to the area because of some the great reviews and also any food of this kind or Chinese is non-existent in the Boise area. So this past Thursday we treated our oldest daughter to dinner and came here to give it a try. Inside very bright and clean with lots of seating both tables and booths. Forewarning this place can get busy and even on a Thursday night it is as very busy. We needed having to wait for maybe 5 mins before we got sat. We weren't even aware for 1 min before our waitress Carina came over and helped us. I have to pause and I hope the owners read this because the difference for me in this being 3.5 stars and more of a 4.5 stars is because of Carina. We ordered drinks and a couple appetizers to start. I will review in order. Appetizers: Fried chicken egg rolls 4 star great flavor and peanut dipping sauce was delicious. Chicken lettuce wraps 5 star great flavors as well and I would come back just for these. Dinner: Chicken pad Thai 5 star and what they are known for and yes I know it's cliche because this is such a staple but to me this cannot be messed up. Generals Chicken 4 star solid flavors a little to saucy for me but the chicken was moist. Wanted it spicy and unfortunately it wasn't. Pineapple fried rice with pork and shrimp 2 stars was my least favorite item. The rice was so over cooked and somewhat mushy. The pork was ok and the shrimp were way overdone. Mongolian beef 3 star while nice and spicy the meat was was over cooked but did have great overall flavor. Overall very good 1st experience and will for sure be back. This is hands down the best tasting Thai/Chinese restaurant you are going to find in the Boise area. I have tried and I would highly recommend this place.

This used to be our favorite but not so excited about it now, we have been coming here since they were at their last location and have always loved it but the last 3 4 times we have come in, it's been the sa. The Thai place across from Whole Foods is much higher quality it's a northern Thai restaurant not sure the name.
I like their curry. The service is always very fast. Their Thai Iced Tea is the best in the area.
