I frequently make a special trip to visit this McDonald's instead of choosing a closer option for fast food. The staff here are always very friendly and they never get my order wrong. I really love this location! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mcdonald's:
This is the worst McDonald's in Boise. The staff is incredibly lazy and inconsiderate. They didn't care at all about the customers. I couldn't even place a simple order through the drive-thru because the lobby was closed, and I had to wait 30 minutes in line. View all feedback.
This is the worst McDonald 's with horrible customer service and an inadequate manager. Do not eat here! I would give this restaurant 0 stars if that were an option. I ordered 3 combos and they gave me the wrong food after I confirmed with the employee at the window. After making me wait for 20 minutes and giving me the wrong food, they finally brought out the combos as ordered, or so I thought. Once I got home, I opened my food and much to my dismay, the meat was missing from 2 of the burgers. Mind you, these burgers had cheese, pickles, and condiments, but no patties. I then called the manager with a request, not for a refund or reorder, but to train their employees better because the time and money wasted for only half of my order was unacceptable. The manager remained silent on the phone the entire time and didn 't even acknowledge me. The basic standard should be convenience, affordability, and efficiency, and they couldn 't even meet that basic standard. What a shame.
By far the worst experience experience I’ve ever had at a fast food place. The staff was disrespectful when we asked for the correct items and tried to tell us we only ordered drinks after being asked to pull around. We waited almost 30 minutes for our food after being told multiple times we didn’t hav e food when we had a receipt and did an app order. They talked about the customers blatantly and flipped each other off in front of customers. They also tried closing down an hour early and tried to turn away at-least 5 customers by just putting cones in front of them and staring at them. Someone who looked like the manager sat in a both the entire time on her phone with ear pods in doing nothing after we told her we hadn’t gotten our food. If this is the kind of staff you allow to serve your customers then you need to change cause the disrespect from the staff just increased the longer we waited and it blows my mind how you can treat paying customers like that.
We ordered egg and cheese McMuffins and still got the egg McMuffin which had the ham on it. We were trying to get on the road for a 3 hour drive so we just took the meat off but it was still frustrating because the sandwiches cost more as well.
There is usually a tremendous line for this location's drive through, though the wait time is usually pretty reasonable considering. Generally speaking the attendants are cool and the food comes out right. There are no major incidents I can recall where a messed up order was not resolved well.
Like all other McDonald's, this location has its pros and cons. We had a meal here and took advantage of the playground. The playground is decent in size—big enough to keep the kids entertained for a while, but not so large that it's hard to keep an eye on them. The food is standard for McDonald's, which means it's predictable and may not be the freshest. The air conditioning was warmer than I would have liked, but still within a reasonable range. Overall, the cleanliness is commendable for a place with heavy foot traffic.
