What User doesn't like about Hyde Park Fine Wines:
We have been here numerous times and its our favorite spot. Although, this time I was disappointed. The $26 steak I ordered were three small strips. Not nearly enough to be considered an entree, more like a small plate. I have gotten a steak here before and it was an actual larger piece of steak. Three 2inx2.5in strips is a really sad meal per value. View all feedback.
This is the perfect date night place! The food is disgusting and the wine couples are on site. We took two bottles from the menu home! My new favorite place in Boise!
The quality of food was excellent. The price was high for one piece for each item. I'd rather have 2 or 3 bits of any item or lower the price for a bite.
Best gem in boise. interesting personal, amazing chef
Camel's Crossing is a one of a kind Boise eatery that gives me hope for the future of Idaho cuisine. Highly recommend!
Camel's Crossing has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants, particularly for a special occasion or a romantic evening out. The ambiance is one of the key features to this restaurant and to the overall experience. They have taken a small footprint and made it have a big presence, from the lighting and decor to the tall u-shaped booths that make you feel private yet accessible at the same time, to the smooth, old-school music that seems to be playing in the background each time. The service is impeccable, attentive yet unobtrusive. The servers and the owner routinely stop by to ensure you have everything you need and that everything is to your liking. Each is well-versed in the menu and are able to make recommendations based on your stated preferences. Then there is the food. Each time we have been, we have opted for the prix fixe menu (you have multiple choices within each course). This is truly the best way to fully experience what this restaurant has to offer. The flavors are a unique take on the dishes, with just the right amount of spice. The portions are generous yet never leave you feeling you have eaten to excess. I truly cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. My only negative is that we don't live within walking distance so that we would be able to dine here even more frequently.
