Hops and Bottles is an excellent spot! The concept is perfect for anyone looking to explore a wide range of breweries, beer styles, ciders, and more. What Debbie Keenan dislikes about Hops And Bottles:
I agree with other reviews that the beertenders often seem dismissive toward customers, with the exception of Jade, who is no longer working there. The atmosphere feels more like a convenience store, but with the added expectation of tipping on top of your purchase. It’s a decent place to grab a beer from the cooler if that's all you're looking for, but it's extremely loud and not the best spot for a fun gathering. View all feedback.

If you're a beer enthusiast, I highly recommend checking this place out!

This is our favorite spot in Boise to enjoy beer. The staff is wonderful, the selection is fantastic, and we really enjoy participating in the puppy playtime.
This is our favorite place to recommend to guests looking for a beer and WiFi during the day — this question it comes up a lot. Hops is just 1.5 blocks from the Modern and they love dogs! So, bring your dog! We also go here to fill growlers of draft beer for our hotel guests. Don’t forget to take home some beer you won’t find anywhere else in Boise!
The best beer bar in Boise! They have so many beers to choose from, including non alcoholic beer, plus other things like hard kombucha. They’re dog friendly and you can bring your food in from elsewhere to eat.
