Food is really good, especially the fries. Nowhere else can you get a gigantic bowl of fresh cut fries for $7. Beer is also good. I'd rate most of them as above average. The faceplant porter is an exception because that beer is outstanding. Super local, down to earth feel too! View all feedback.
What Guy Antoine doesn't like about Highlands Hollow Brewhouse:
The food was delicious and I 've always loved the Hollow growing up. I only have one problem. We had a waitress with long black hair. She messed up every single order we had and was very rude. When we asked for pickles they didn 't come with the food and we asked again. Her response was he asked for a burger and ketchup not pickles. She then brought me the wrong pickles for a burger and was very rude the whole night. View all feedback.
Hell yes!!! We hesitated coming here because of previous reviews but those people were obviously in bad moods because this place is fantastic.
First impression is that its a dive bar without liquorMostly, it seemed like there were a lot of regulars, not busy at all.
If you are looking for a nice restaurant, this isn't the placeIf you are looking for a cozy neighborhood hangout with solid food, HH is for you.
Good friendly service, good food and drink in a cozy Tyrolean/ski lodge themed atmosphere. Central fireplace is a nice touch.TVs showing various sports Snug-like booths. Good beer selection. Pleasant place to go on a dreary winter afternoon.
The steak pasta was delicious. The wing appetizer was over done and not a good flavor. Their cookies and cream dessert was fresh and great tasting. They were super busy which was surprising for a Wednesday night. They have a good size menu and lots of beer tap. We'll be back to try more food from there soon.
