...been getting tired of the bacon meme, as good as everyone's favorite meat candy is, it's not that good. But sweet-salty is still one of the best combinations out there, and maple and bacon go together pretty well. If anything, I would have preferred a stronger bacon taste, but it's definitely something I will eat again, and soon.
A true icon of Boise! The bacon maple bar is absolutely amazing!
I've been getting a bit weary of the bacon hype. While bacon is undeniably delicious, I don't think it's quite as amazing as everyone claims. That said, the sweet-salty combination is one of the best out there, and maple and bacon pair really nicely together. If anything, I would have liked a more pronounced bacon flavor, but I would definitely eat this again—and soon!
The donuts were fantastic, and the woman working there was incredibly friendly! I stopped by around 11 a.m. on a Monday morning, and they still had a wonderful variety to choose from! Overall...
This restaurant is one of my favorites in Boise. I really enjoy the charming little shop and its delightful downtown vibe. The donuts are always perfect, smelling and looking incredible in the morning. This place feels like my therapy, no matter what day of the week it is. The sweet older Asian lady always remembers me and makes the most delicious vanilla lattes. Plus, it's right next to one of the best bookstores in the area. Truly, this place is my therapy.
It was donut treat day, and it was our first time visiting DK. I arrived just after they opened to ensure I had the best selection, eagerly hoping to taste some delicious cinnamon rolls...
