This I give 5 stars with caveats First off, I grew up along the rust belt areas of the east coast, where places like these are on pretty much every other corner. Chances were good your favorite pub was the one you could walk (stumble) to from home. Service and friendliness were important. This place has all of that going for it. No chique ambience. Inconsistent service the last couple of visits. This is an old bar and sometimes the smell of stale beer gets pretty strong. However, the drinks are usually strong, the prices are cheap and usually you can find a place to sit. Not sure what is going on with the service though... You will want to order at the bar! Cool little place, service was good and drinks were great. has this cozy, hidden dizziness cleaning.
Every time I'm in there, it's laughing and good times. more barely kills it and you get the mood of everyone to be friends and just relax.
Incredibly friendly, chill vibe. we ended the night here and I wish we started it here! I moved away from boise, but I wish I wasn't part because I found this bar.
It is a real place like the cheers of boise. mad cheap, stiff ass drinks, old device. Previously, it was really disgusting if we could smoke down there, but now that you don't really torture his very much. bar only, but free popcorn....every day, all day
