Most of their... read more I'd been familiar with Bread Alone's fresh organic bread for years as it's sold at many stores and farmer's markets in the Catskills and NYC area. Most of their breads are vegan. I recently discovered their cafes (they have 4 altogether) offer some great vegan sandwiches. Their menu has 6 sandwiches total, 3 of which are vegan, and 1 that's veg...not bad! I recommend the Bahn Mi (hold the jalapeno pepper if you don't like super hot) and the Chickpea patty (tastes like hummus). Sandwiches are big with lots of veggies. For dessert don't miss the vegan chocolate pound cake (so rich and delish)! For breakfast they have avo toast and oatmeal.

The broth is much thicker than one would expect and seasoned really well. If you are a soup person then this is the dish for you.The grilled cheese surprised me as well. It comes with grilled onions and mustard. My immediate thought was not my grilledcheese! But I leaned into it and it was very flavorful. The bread helps sell the profile.

Perfect place for coffee and a pastry OR brunch OR a hostess gift. Obviouslycombo of all 3 would work great ; . The wild flowers in the front were gorgeous too!
