Gostilna Danica - Bohinjska Bistrica

The vegan pasta is the only vegan dish on the menu, but it is incredibly tasty with fresh vegetables. The sweet plate is a great vegetarian choice. The staff is extremely friendly and the outdoor seating area is very cozy. Located near Lake Bohinj, it may be the best and only spot besides pizza to enjoy delicious vegan options. I would give it 5 stars just for the welcoming staff, even though it is not a fully vegan restaurant.

It was a pleasant surprise to find a vegan option on the menu, as we hadn't seen one anywhere else in the area! But, unfortunately, it was just a big bowl of simple pasta with vegetable tomato sauce, something you could easily make at home. It didn't exactly wow us, but it did the job when we were really hungry.

There is only one option available at this restaurant, which is vegan pasta, but it is incredibly tasty. It is also the only dining option near Lake Bohinj, and it is fantastic! The restaurant is child-friendly with a playground that is perfect for families with children. The view is stunning, the atmosphere is lovely, and the staff is very friendly, especially the lady who served us. Without a doubt, this restaurant deserves a 5-star rating. Thank you!
