The dishes we ordered were tasty but simple. It's a good option for trying local cuisine, but there is room for improvement. It's a bit too basic to make us want to return.
This restaurant may be unassuming in appearance, but the quality of the food is outstanding. It was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend it.
During my visit to Cotonou, I brought my husband to this restaurant for a taste of local cuisine. We were lucky to catch the weekly special which was a delicious spinach stew. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, especially the quick service which is a rare find in Benin. We were impressed with the fast turnaround time.
This restaurant, Makrele, serves delicious food that is expertly prepared.
