We stopped in for breakfast one sunday, they were busy with a few tables to spare. We had our dog, which was no problem at all, win! Coffees came out quuckly and were just lovely, we even got a second to take away after our meals. There were quite a few vegetarian options on the menu and the staff were very accommodating with altering for a vegan option. Friendly staff, fast service, lovely atmosphere. Well done! Good coffee. Unfriendly service. Chose this coffee shop over Coffee Club to support a local business but Cafe Mod Barista had zero customer service, would not return. View all feedback.

Big breakfast was awesome. Been there before. Best breakfasts on the Tweed Coast. The other two people with me also really enjoyed their meals.
Visited Cafe Mod Barista with my wife Donna for a very enjoyable lay back Saturday lunch in Cabarita.Started with a couple of superb coffees - a flat white and a mugachino - definately the best around and you can see why they are rating well on the best coffee surveys on the coast.I ordered the **** Mary Wild Mushroom which is one of the best combinations of flavours I have experienced - it was absolutely brilliant - give it a try. Donna ordered the Eggs Benedict which were another taste sensation with everything presented cooked to perfection. This place is an absolute gem and hosts Jen and Mark go out of their way to provide excellent service with great imaginative well presented fare.Highly recommended.
We have eaten breakfast at Cabarita Beach's Cafe Mod Barista about once a fortnight for the last year before walking our dog on the beach. The food is delicious and imaginative, the service friendly and warm, the coffee great, with comfortable outdoor sofas, and dogs (on leash) are welcome. If you are a Pokemon fan, a gym is accessible from the outdoor tables.Run by a husband and wife team, the Mod has a delightful quirky unassuming ambience. Displayed on the walls inside is a collection of items of British mid-60's Mod Culture from photos to vinyl singles. Outside stands a wall-size Doctor Who Tardis photo and the sofas have Union Jack cushions. While new dishes are often added to the already interesting menu, such as corn fritters or pancakes, I often choose the "Green Omelette" - deliciously and generously stuffed with things like diced zucchinis, spinach and goat's cheese, served with fresh rocket and sourdough toast. If you are just passing through Cabarita on the Tweed Coast Road or going to the beach there, I recommend eating there. You will enjoy it.
