Z's Wood Fired Pizza - Boerne

My first experience was good. Went around 130ish on a Friday when it was not to do so that I was able to meet the glue that holds this amazing place together. Zach, his father Mike and Judy. Great people. Super friendly. The personal 8 inch pizza I ordered was great. The paprika, prosciutto and sun-dried tomatoes were all super fresh and wonderful. Also the sauce and the dough were excellent. Perfect size for a person. To it from the cream brulee was phenomenal from the pastry chef. This is my way to dessert and it was definitely some of the best I have experienced. I will certainly return to this new joint this month. A must try!!

Love, love their pizza, music and drinks. Perfect place for the whole family. Your outdoor terrace is perfect to bring the children and let them enjoy themselves!!!

My husband and I passed this place several times, but tonight we stopped with our son. It was all over, but we beat the rush at 5.45. We sat immediately, but soon after a line, but it moved quite fast. Hubby and I split a house salad with Ranch Dressing (not usually a fan of Ranch-that was great!! He and my son had only the hunter's pizza meat, so the name. I tried the special pizza that is constantly changing. It was the “Mr. Miagi”! OMG- it was amazing! Cream cheese, real lump crab, spices and fried Wanton! A bunch of Rangoon on a pizza that Wouda dropped? I asked for Siracha sauce that really threw it on a notch! Hubby had something too. Paul was our waiter, Superman, if you ask me. He was great! It took care of us. We're definitely going back!

Had a fantastic experience at Z's tonight. Paul took care of us, although the restaurant was really busy (seriously: do something about the back door. It kills your waiter! He is probably responsible for our tab to 30 or 40 percent and it was worth it. Everybody. Dime. He was super friendly without being annoying, and the kitchen always supported him on the way. Guys, I really needed a good night tonight. Z comes with space for replacement. I can't wait to get back to Z's!!

I’m the past, I have only had take out from Z’s. I finally was able to dine in for lunch and was not disappointed. Not only was the pizza awesome as always, the service was outstanding. Everyone was super friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. On a side note, the homemade ranch dressing was the best I’ve ever had! Will definitely make it a point to return as a dine in customer more regularly.
