It becomes obvious with the first bite (of each of the many special flavors) that these cakes are special. Cindy claims they are made with love, and in fact you can taste it. Each cake is an individual masterpiece, not mass produced on an assembly line. Try a slice, and your only regret is not to buy the whole cake!

Mike and Cindy opened up and let us get some cake, which was wonderful. Although it was after hours, they were still standing with us for a good hour, telling us the story of the pie city and the pie source cafe told it a very wonderful experience, I would recommend everyone and everyone to stop at the pie source.

The establishme... read more I drove 175 miles to eat pie in Pie Town, and the cake I had there was the best I've ever tasted. It was worth the round trip just for the cake! The establishment is quite unique, housed in an old home that was revitalized through a new deal program aimed at assisting farmers and their properties in Pie Town. The atmosphere is cozy and feels just like home. The woman who runs the place is wonderful and bakes the largest cakes imaginable.

So enjoyed talking with Cindy the toffee almond pie was a bonus. It was delicious looking forward to try other items on the menu.
