La Cascada - Boerne
La Cascada
Description
Tapatio Springs Resort's restaurant experience offers a mix of highs and lows. While many patrons rave about the delicious food, friendly staff, and welcoming atmosphere, others report significant delays and inconsistent service. Reservations have resulted in frustrating wait times, particularly during busy periods like Valentine's Day. Despite these concerns, the restaurant boasts a scenic location with a modern clubhouse and has received glowing reviews for its updated offerings. Diners enjoy a variety of menu options, with prices averaging between $20 to $30 per person. Overall, the dining experience reflects potential, yet challenges remain in service consistency.

Staff seemed distracted. Every other table was having issues. My ribeye was a chewy mess. The fried egg in the appetizer was almost inedible rubber. My wife’s shrimp weren’t deveined. The waitress was very slow in bringing drinks to our friend and I but inexplicably brought my wife a second round that she didn’t even order. I’ve probably forgotten some things because it has been a month since we went but yeah. Just bad and extremely expensive to boot. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
Situated within the Tapatio Springs Hotel and golf course, this restaurant and bar proved to be a fantastic addition to our five-day stay. The food was quite good, as we dined here for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed eating both indoors and on the patio. Their pizza is outstanding! I highly recommend visiting, especially if you’re staying at the resort. We will definitely be back.
The Hill Country views are more enticing than the food. The empanadas were the best part of the meal. Perfectly fried and flavorful. The fried chicken sandwich was over cooked and bland. The house burger was cooked correctly, but significantly underseasoned. Saving graces... besides the view... our server Tori was great. She was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Also, thebar can put out a good Old Fashioned, and is well stocked with liquor and beer options. I would recommend the empanadas andbourbon while watching the game... skip the entrees. Cheers!
Do not order the redfish. It 's $32 and you will get a tail end piece of the filet that only has 2 bites of fish. I have actually never seen a smaller filet of fish in my life. I asked my waitress if this was the normal size and she said yes . Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
