Baeren - Boenigen

We could not find anything of note in Interlaken for a fast (and good) bite so we stopped here. mid afternoon on a miserable rainy day, the waitress took our order with incredible efficiency and the food was supremely delicious. We had a cheeseburger with crispy fries and a tartar with whiskey condiment which was lean and very well executed. The price was reasonable for excellent quality. We left with the promise to come again! Well worth a detour if you are in Interlaken

We were staying very close to restaurant and have popped in couple of times. Service is good, food is interesting and unique. It is worth trying for someone interested in trying something different.

Lunch starts at 12 but I went there at 11:15 to get food and stay away from the chilly weather. They were so kind to serve lunch early for us and the food was so good. I had schnitzel with mushrooms sauce. Great atmosphere and clean restroom is a plus.

Best Swiss food I had, anywhere. Everything tasted amazing, and it wasn't over-thought it was just good.

Extremely good food very friendly service. Our server was kind happy to entertain our attempts to speak German. Make sure to get a beer dessert!
