And yet everything is harmonious, because the building lies directly on the upper lake – which, by the way, has been created naturally and has not been artificially created. On sunny days you can dine quite beautifully on an elongate wooden ridge that protrudes into the lake or enjoy a glass of wine. During the annual “Summer am See” event series, which will host numerous concerts in the old TÜV building, which will take place directly next to it, the boathouse also serves as a popular drink. And, by the way, it functions – around the year – as a “nette toilet” that you can use the toilet of the restaurant freely, even if you are not a guest and consume it. The park situation is a bit diffizil: not far from the building there are some free parking spaces, but mostly occupied by local residents. However, it is possible to use the underground car park of the nearby Congress Hall or the parking spaces of the Landratsamt which are also subject to a fee. Or you walk to the foot. The Upper Lake is a popular flanier mile, especially with a child and a cone, with a wheel slide and a stroller. Susann Faude has been responsible for the boathouse since the last year after several change of the tenant. This is shown in the interior by an even more modern ambience with some innovations. However, whether the deep-hanging luminaires over some tables, which can lead to unpopular collisions, or the rolling containers are located in the middle of the room where wine glasses are alternating with wooden strings (a bit strange, right? , the taste of all guests is questionable. Friendly and bright, the indoor environment is all-round and you feel spontaneously comfortable even if it can become very, very tight during the noon. A coat is only in the front area of the restaurant, not near the table. Not everyone likes to hang his leather jacket so completely outside his eyes. And there are hardly any storage options. As I had already looked through, the boat house is especially magnificent over noon. This may be due to the surrounding authorities, whose employees certainly like to return here – but also to the cheap, changing lunch table. Weekly there are several different dishes, all very cheap: vegetarian for 5 euros (usually noodle dishes, meat or fish-based dishes for 7 euros). But note: a supplemental salad is not automatically included and, if desired, strikes again with 2.50 euros. But you can also afford an espresso for 1 Euro. In the last few days I was visiting with a small group about noon. Since we had not reserved a table, only a single gentleman kindly took us up at his table, then the service lady gave us new places directly at the window. It operates very smoothly and quickly and without problems. Our orders were delivered after a quarter of an hour. The pork steak and the beef skeleton from the midday offer (each 7.00 euros were each treated with a saturation supplement (noodles or Croquets delivered and was praised. The meat was pleasant and the noodles were no longer too much al dente. However, I found the dish dishes somewhat colourful and imaginative. It wasn't even a little bit of a decoration element on it, like a tomato or some herbs. The beetles were soft and pale. Together with a colourful supplement salad, the total arrangement for 11 euros was not cheap. Satt was all. All the drinks were delivered well cooled and were given a proper gift. However, I found 0.2 liters of Trollinger (which, however, is considered to be Schoppenwein for 4.20 euros, then is a bit high-priced. Interestingly, after 13 o'clock30, the local emptied suddenly. It is my theory that the crowd of the guests is coming here at noon. Also worth mentioning, the Brunch offered on the weekend certainly seems to me a nice idea to pamper his loved ones again.

I have to come back because the greeting and the waiter were both very friendly. I'm not sure why the value is down as it is comparable to most other Boblingen restaurants.
