I dined here last night, and despite the restaurant being newly opened and still getting settled, it was definitely worth the wait! Some of the best food we've ever had, especially the Cajun cod steak. The atmosphere is beautiful, and the team is friendly and hardworking. I highly recommend that everyone give this place a try! Very expensive mixed grill. None of it was edible. Either raw (not rare. I know the difference) or so badly burnt couldnt get a knife through it. Left 90% on the plate. Did offer to send it back but to be honest if they were prepared to send the plate out like that, there seemed no point Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3 View all feedback.
It was a Friday evening, we hadn't booked but the staff were accommodating and managed to fit us in. The staff were fabulous and the food was more than ok! Advice to anyone! This is a popular pub so make sure you book to avoid disappointment. When I return to Cornwall, I'll certainly return to the pub.
We visited last night for Valentines and our Wedding Anniversary meal and thank you so much for such an enjoyable evening, fantastic meal and friendly service; could not have wished for better! I was born and bred in Lanivet, will definately visit again and recommend
On behalf of all of us we would like to say a big thank you for hosting the buffet following a family funeral on Thursday. The food was excellent and everyone who came passed on their compliments. We would recommend you to anyone.
Lovely little local pub buzzing with a great atmosphere! Had such a lovely meal and evening that we went back for roast the following day which was delicious!! Highly recommend!!
