Fattoria Gaggio - Bodio lomnago

Abbiamo recentemente scoperto questo agriturismo di fronte al lago e ci siamo tornati volentieri alcune volte. I prodotti sono ottimi, con formaggi e confetture fatti in casa, e lo yogurt è eccezionale! Il personale è gentile e attento alle esigenze dei clienti, complimenti a tutto lo staff!

Siamo finiti lì per caso, mentre passeggiavamo in zona. La vista sul lago è bellissima e siamo rimasti soddisfatti del cibo. Forse il sabato a pranzo è più adatto alle famiglie.

We visited here for the first time with some close Italian friends. We love simple, tasty local food and this did not disappoint with wonderful risottos and polenta and osso bucco. We were well looked after and were able to have a good look around after as well as being able to talk a short walk to the lakes edge. This was a great occasion and we will certainly want to return again whee we are next in the area.

As an agritourist, they offer rooms as a bed breakfast with lake view but can't say anything about it since we live in the area. As a restaurant well, they offer the 11.00 euro lunch menu (available in a lot of places in Varese province) which includes starter, main dish, water and wine. If having coffee and dessert obviously have an extra cost. For weekends the lunch menu is raised to 30.00 but one extra starter is included plus chips, coffee and dessert as much as you want. The food quality is average (for most the times when we've been there) Last time we had a spelt salad which composition with other ingredients were not the best; a classic Italian tomato eggplant pasta served with not well cooked eggplant but raw... and a very dry pork steak... Staff service is average, slow, just did their work. The highlight of this farm is the fact of being a bed breakfast with lakeview; bike rental availability; farm animals to delight the children; farm products like marmelades, honey, eggs; children playground; restaurant with lakeview but the cuisine is mediocre...
