Bocas Brewery - Bocas del Toro Panama

Mojito had no alcohol in it, and they forgot our food for a good hour. But cool atmosphere, and I think they just forgot to add a shot to my drink, as my friends mojitos were pretty strong.

My husband and I visited Bocas Brewery in early July 2021. As craft beer enthusiasts, we were keen to sample their offerings. Unfortunately, we were disappointed to find that they only had one beer on tap, an overly sweet IPA that seemed past its prime. In addition, they only had two bottled beers available from other breweries, an amber ale and an IPA. While we understand the challenges of sourcing ingredients in Bocas del Toro, a brewery should have more options available for customers. We cannot currently recommend Bocas Brewery, but we hope they are able to improve their selection and quality of beer in the future.

During our trip to Bocas Town, we were pleasantly surprised to discover Bocas Brewery, as we had originally thought it was closed. Despite the misinformation on the internet, we found that the brewery is actually open and serving tasty craft beer. The staff was very friendly, though it can get busy at times causing a short wait for a drink. They were helpful in informing us of our place in line, but who's in a rush when on vacation? The brewery has a nice indoor/outdoor atmosphere with food available, and a very friendly cat on the premises.

We enjoyed a delicious chicken dish for only $6 at this fantastic restaurant! The staff were attentive and provided great service.

This restaurant is a lovely spot to enjoy craft beer and have some fun singing karaoke.
