We were introduced to this lovely, friendly bar/restaurant by our friends. We have visited when allowed during Covid for evening tapas meals which are wonderful and very reasonably priced. We visit here for a Copa de vino tinto for me and dos cervesas for my husband once or twice a week at the moment. Everyone is so friendly. Well worth a visit.

Lots of Spanish people here when we visited on... read more This is your typical Spanish bar with tapas, bocadillos and delicious food. All very simple but also very tasty. Lots of Spanish people here when we visited on a Sunday afternoon in February 2020. Since we arrived rather late, we had to wait quite a while for a table... However the food was delicious.... We took some boquerones, Garibaldinos and a Pescado Varioda platter... This is Spanish life in a village like Bocairent!

Solbes was open and inside it... read more We arrived in Bocairent at midnight expecting the town to be fast asleep. And it sure looked that way. But looks can be deceiving. Solbes was open and inside it seemed as if the whole town and its wife was assembled for talking contest. The contrast was fantastic, old people, women groups, men in groups, children buying ices, young men, couples and everyone completely at ease and happy. We ordered some Tapas style food but would have eaten a horse since we were so hungry. Maybe we did. The grub tasted very good.

Typical meals we... read more Every time we come here the staff are very welcoming and always try to accomodate. Its a busy place, very clean, great food reasonably priced. Typical meals we have are swordfish with grilled vegetables, and tapas such as meatballs, patas bravas and garlic mushrooms. Drinks are generous proportions and the iced tankards of beer are great.
