My girlfriend ordered the Halibut, which was advertised as being potato-encrusted. Typically, that means it's coated in potato flakes or mashed potatoes, but the waitress clarified that it would come topped with thin slices of potato. She mentioned it tasted good. While it looked nice, I felt it needed some kind of garnish or vegetable to enhance the presentation. It was simply a piece of fish on a plate, which wasn't very appealing. The music played during our meal didn’t align with what I would expect from a gourmet restaurant, and it was a bit loud, too. On a positive note, the atmosphere was lovely, and we were seated inside near the wine room. I did notice one light bulb was out in the chandelier and informed the waitress, who assured me she would let the manager know.
We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. The ambiance was lovely, with tasteful and understated decor that added to the experience. The spacing between tables was just right, allowing us to enjoy our privacy. They offered an excellent wine selection and a great variety of mixed cocktails. I will absolutely be returning soon.
Service was excellent. We were told that the interior restaurant was booked, which was what we had requested since one of us had a cold, so they placed us outside. The restaurant interior was less than 1/2 full. Meal was very good except for the pecan pie; the crust had a stale taste.
Nice atmosphere and very good food. We had a great time and enjoyed the food and the friendly service. The short rib gnocchi is out of this world!
