Was Babs Smith at Dvash Mediterranean Fusion a mag?
We have eaten here several times. This time all the food came out very slowly , with us repeatedly asking servers to check our order. Then 3 out of 4 main entrees came out cold, and when they came back were only fair. View all feedback.
What ralph levy dislikes about Dvash Mediterranean Fusion:
We needed direction to the restaurant so we called. A big mistake: the person who answered the phone didn’t know where it was she said to take 440 to Glades and then go to the Home Depot shopping center. WRONG. It was closer to the turnpike and Lyons really The place was empty at 6 pm we ate outside the waitress, Bianca, was fabulous and extremely helpful. The lentil soup was okay the babakanush was excellent the two... View all feedback.
Really 2.5 stars this place has been on my radar for some time now. Hearing mostly positivity surrounding it and being in the area this particular evening, I was ready for a visit. Fancying themselves Mediterranean fusion, the menu was loaded withvarious dishes you would find from several cultures across the Middle East with a contemporary touch. Starting with the picturedportobello hummus, which was extremely delicious, the smooth light texture of the hummus itself to the flavorful and tenderfully cooked portobello we were off to a great start. Next came the fig and goat cheese flat bread, which the staff suggestedwas one of the better options on the starters. Unfortunately, it wasn’t for us. The dough was too thick and very pizza likein the consistency, topped with a mozz like white cheese, and very little goat in fact. The turmeric cauliflower was one of thebetter whole roasted cauli dishes around, as it appears to be a staple on every menu these days. The beet tahina was creativeand accompanied the dish nicely. For the larger plates we had the rack of lamb atop a plate of couscous as well as the chickenshawarma. The lamb seemed almost as though it was baked, rather flavorless and bland as was the couscous. The asparagus wasterribly undercooked as well. The shawarma was better certainly, but a bit dry and needed a side of hummus or salatim to pairwith. With the crazy high prices and glaring inconsistencies, I can’t say I’d repeat.
Beautiful restaurant with delicious food. The menu has a lot of dishes including vegetarian and vegan options. You can tell the food is made with a ton of care, the flavors are exceptional! Prices are what you’d expect in boca. Service was friendly, though a little slow at the start, but the servers were all really kind. Delicious spot for lunch, brunch, or dinner!
Almost a great choice for dinner. Great food and atmosphere
Whenever I’m in Boca, I always dine at Dvash Mediterranean Fusion. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS! They offer fantastic vegetarian and vegan options. It’s truly one of the best restaurants I've had the pleasure of visiting; you can genuinely taste the freshness of the ingredients they use. The staff is friendly and professional. The little touches, like fresh flowers on the tables and vibrant, mixed plates, make this place truly unique.
Incredible Mediterranean cuisine! I highly recommend visiting. The atmosphere is uniquely vibrant, setting it apart from the usual restaurants in Delray Beach. We tried the garlic hummus (a must-have!), the chicken sandwich (the pesto is fantastic!), and the Greek salad (so fresh!). We even had the opportunity to chat with the owner, who was incredibly kind. Additionally, the service was excellent!
