From the friendly and polite welcome, excellent bar tablet service, amazing aromas on food and attention to detail, we will be absolutely back. We know why the place was very busy on Wednesday night. It deserves it.

Today, I was especially proud of the restaurant. 100 percent of the proceeds from today's sales are going to victims of Hurricane Harvey. I never heard of a restaurant donating 100%. The owner is very generous. Thank you.

It’s been on my radar for a while, and after hearing mostly positive reviews and being in the area one evening, I decided to give it a try. They pride themselves on Mediterranean fusion, offering a menu filled with dishes inspired by various Middle Eastern cultures with a modern twist. We started with the portobello hummus, which was fantastic. The hummus was smooth and light, paired perfectly with tender, flavorful portobello mushrooms—a great way to begin. Next was the fig and goat cheese flatbread, recommended by the staff as one of the better starters. Sadly, it missed the mark for us. The dough was thick and more like pizza crust, topped with a mozzarella-like white cheese, but barely any goat cheese. The turmeric cauliflower was one of the better roasted cauliflower dishes I’ve had recently, especially since it’s become such a common menu item. The beet tahina was a creative addition and complemented the dish well. For mains, we ordered the rack of lamb served over couscous and the chicken shawarma. The lamb felt almost baked, lacking flavor, and the couscous was bland. The asparagus was severely undercooked. The shawarma was better but somewhat dry and could have used a side like hummus or salatim. With the high prices and noticeable inconsistencies, I can’t say I’d come back.

The menu features a wide variety of dishes, including plenty of vegetarian and vegan options. It’s clear that each dish is prepared with great care, resulting in exceptional flavors. Prices are typical for Boca. The service was friendly, though a bit slow at first, but all the staff were very kind. A fantastic choice for lunch, brunch, or dinner!
