Visited Murray's mainly for the beer tasting but was also super impressed with the food and wine tasting too! Meals are huge! Hubby and I thought we would share the BBQ plate, we are pretty good at putting food away but we did not expect the share plate to be so massive!! Not a huge selection of food need some more chicken dishes! Staff super friendly too and knowledgable. Grounds are really pretty and it's pretty qu... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Murrays Craft Brewing Company:
Food was average and expensive, 25 bucks for a soggy burger that was so wet it fell apart and some chips, surrounds were like a shambles of old shipping containers and some hard uncomfortable benches to sit on, not a place to linger and enjoy a nice lunch. Seems set up for the Asian tourist market where they have improved setttings and seating arrangements the locals are not allowed in. View all feedback.
Very disappointed, not been for a few years so took all the family over the long weekend not sure if they had staffing problems but it took 20 mins to queue up for a beer and lots of confusion over when your food was ready . Prices have gone up and meal sizes down which is a shame , still nothing lasts forever.
Ordered a pear salad pear was dry and discoloured (as though it had been cut days ago) and rocket was soggy. It also came without parmesan so I took it back to the kitchen for it to be added. The cutlery was bamboo and the wine glass was plastic which I feel unnecessarily cheapened the experience. I still had an enjoyable time because the setting is simply beautiful and I was in good company. I definitely would not go back there for a meal but if it was to catch up with friends for drinks only I’d probably return.
The food was delicious and ordering was a breeze, but there were long lines for craft beers, most likely due to COVID. This was a reason why we didn't stay as long as we would have liked. We visited on a Thursday at lunchtime and felt that more than one person was needed to serve drinks.
Not a fan of QR code menus but don’t mind them if they aren’t compulsory but this venue has not one but 2 separate QR code menus to work through if you want to eat. Food was fine enough I suppose but the kids meals turned up in polystyrene containers because they couldn’t be bothered plating $15 nuggets chips. Polystyrene is supposed to be phased out by Nov 1st and here they are still serving food up in them for sit down meals. Recently visited Little Creatures in Geelong and the contrast with this soulless husk of a venue could not be more stark.
The food at this restaurant was fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the lamb salad, as well as the chicken and beef burgers. The beer selection was excellent, with a wide variety to choose from. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, especially with the sun shining on the outdoor deck. The only downside was that the kids menu was on the smaller side, but overall a great dining experience.
