Was Jackie W at Wheatsheaf a mag?
Visited Bobcaygeon for two days, stopped here for dinner. Nice, simple outdoor patio, fast table service, all I dined with enjoyed their food. I had the Bourbon BBQ Burger with a side of onion rings. Burger was very tasty, onion rings not bad, they were a good size. Thank you! View all feedback.

What Paige Schuster dislikes about Wheatsheaf:
Great Caesar and terrible tuna melt! It was one piece of Rye bread, topped with a scoop of tuna. Two, way to thick slices of tomato topped with an in melted slice of white cheese. A tiny bit of salad on the side made for a really crummy and non- satisfying lunch. My overseas visitor couldn't get any whole wheat bread. This at a sandwich place? I won't return. Wow! That pretty much says it all. Was visiting family that live in Bobcaygeon and they suggested the Wheatsheaf for lunch. They tell me it's one of their favourite spots to eat. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The sandwiches are fantastic! Salads were very tasty. There was something for everyone to enjoy on the menu.We sat outside on the patio so I never actually saw the inside of the restaurant. Service was quite good and the prices were very reasonable. I look forward to my next meal at the Wheatsheaf.

We had the potato benedict. Nice to get away from the traditional English muffin base. Good selection of fruits and very fresh ingredients. A healthy choice. Nice cafe style interior and outside patio. Staff are fun and seem to enjoy working there. It is nice when an owner/operator runs a cafe and actually serves and takes feedback. Thanks

Had lunch with a group of Red Hat ladies (12) Nice and varied menu, Has been up dated recently since this owner took over. Is very nice when you can sit outside and watch the tourists go by. Central spot in village .

... unless you're looking for chicken noodle soup. Liz and staff take the concept of soup with sandwich or salad to another level. Every day has a unique artisan soup which you can pair with a selection of wonderfully crafted and flavourful sandwiches or fresh salads that are far from everyday. Tasteful decor, friendly service and great patio for those sunny lunch days. Beer and wine available too. Perfect!
