We pick... read more We called ahead and learned that they don’t take reservations and don’t serve alcohol, but they encouraged us to bring our own wine with no corkage fee. We picked up a bottle of red wine on the way. Upon arrival, we were informed there might be a 25-30 minute wait, so we settled around the large fire pit and enjoyed our wine. To our delight, we got seated in just 15 minutes at a table by big windows overlooking roaming bison, elk, water buffalo, and more. We started with the delicious Pimento Cheese bites and then proceeded to order bison steaks, while one guest opted for the Patty Melt. The steaks were cooked perfectly, and the baked potatoes and onion rings were also great. While we were dining, the owner announced a new addition to the family—a kangaroo—and brought it in for everyone to see. The little one was swaddled and became the star attraction of our lunch. After our meal, we took a stroll through the viewing area for $5 each, which we thoroughly enjoyed. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend a stop here for great staff, delicious food, and a unique way to spend a lunch or dinner!

I recommend offering a toy or something similar for the raccoon, perhaps a large ball for the other animal pens as well. Overall, a great visit!

We ordered the Alabama Hot Brown with fries and the 8oz Sirloin paired with macaroni and cheese. Both dishes were enjoyable, but the standout of the meal was definitely the Raspberry ice cream dessert, which was simply amazing!
