Our hotel restaurant (Ganivet) was closed, so we had a wander down the street as we were exploring the area after our arrival. El Rincon was busy with locals for tapas and meals. This is an excellent restaurant. For 9.9 euros in the week (21 euros or 26 euros on Sundays and public holidays) you get a three course meal and a free bottle of wine. Everything was fantastic. So much so we went back three times taking our friends with us. The veal, entrecote steak and cod are highly recommnded. The portions are generous and the staff very friendly (bar one who must have been having a bad day). Not much English spoken but they have a god and it helps you try some Spanish. Definately a must go to Madriod restaurant. Not pretentious just good, honest simpe, food and excellent value.

Food quality is very good. Dishes are big. I recommend grilled beef steak. I have ordered 1 portion for me. They have served around 400 gr. very delicious antikrot. I paid only 20€ including 2 glass of beers

It's a typical Spanish restaurant, serving tapas and some other dishes. A good choice if in a rush and in a budget. The shrimps (Gambas) are good as well as the black pudding (Morcilla)

Pulpo y los huevos rotos, muy ricos. El flan casero, también. El trato muy amable. La terraza buena para ir con perro.
