Pleasantly surprised by the good service from the front of house (run efficiently by Martin) and by the food. The menu is more than adequate with a good variety offered. Service is quick and the food is tasty. Will definitely go here again!! View all feedback.
The only reason I’m giving a 5 star is because I don’t want them to loose unnecessary stars. Was some of the best sushi we’ve had in PE. Over time the consistency changed. Overall happy with the food. Could add more protein to rice and noodle dishes, but very well priced food. Alcohol on the other hand is ridiculously priced. Brandy has a 500% markup on. This is not Sandton. Taking that into consideration, the bathrooms are not the cleanest especially for a place that makes 500% markup on their hard liquor alone.
The quality of food is excellent, as well as the friendly and efficient service. A beautifully decorated and cozy atmosphere perfect for date nights.
Nice Japanese and Asian restaurant. We came for a Saturday dinner and they had a table for us immediately. The sushi was surprisingly good along with the other Korean style shocker starter. The ramen was nice, but nothing more than that. We had the 3 scoop ice cream for dessert all are home made ginger and honey, green tea and wasabi. The flavours were nice, but the ice cream was crystallised which didn’t really grant it a nice texture and melted fast. The service was really great! It’s a pretty busy street and parking your car could be quite complex, so maybe try Uber instead.

The perfect place to go if you are looking for that authentic Japanese cuisine experience outside of Japan. As you walk in, you get that small, intimate vibe and if I did not know better, I would have thought I was in Japan! Decor is lovely, with seating for couples and large tables. Authentic Japanese beer available, as well a selection of fine wines (Pinot grico included). The food was absolutely divine. The sushi was mouthwatering. This is not the type of place to come if you want to shovel loads of it in your mouth; there are other places in PE better suited to that. This is the type of place to come to focus on the delicate art of food and how it interacts with your tastebuds. The ramen was delicious and the portion sizes were huge, so don’t full yourself up too much on starters before trying this dish. I made this mistake and had to miss out on the wasabi ice cream. The noodles are homemade as well as pretty much everything else, and you can taste it. Service was excellent. Honestly was an amazing experience and will definitely be back.
