This place has the best NYC style pizza in all of KC! I’m originally from the NYC/NJ metro area and have had a hard time finding pizza that is in any way comparable to back home, but this place definitely makes the cut. We got the a half plain/half pepperoni pie and it was literally the best pizza I’ve had since I moved to KCMO. Definitely check this place out. You won’t be disappointed. View all feedback.
What A B doesn't like about D'bronx:
I continue to be amazed at how a pizza by the slice place can serve such unimpressive slices. I personally watched them reheat mine, and yet it still managed to be cold fresh out of the oven. It was overproofed, undersauced, and the cheese congealed before the guy behind the counter could even muster a weak smile and tell me to enjoy. This place has gone downhill steadily for years. Stopped by for a deli sandwich they were out of everything! NOTHING like their glory days in the early ‘90s!
If you want New York Pizza... here is as close as you can get... just close your eyes listen to the sirens and realize that you just stepped back into the city as you take your 1st bite.
I'm late....I meant to write this review a little while ago.....I ordered a Pizza and left the house and forgot my purse...??They trusted me and let me go on home..... The next day I made sure to call and pay as soon as they opened.I so much appreciate that they trusted me. I always have awesome service when I come here... Everyone is always pleasant and full of smiles... Thanks You Guys for such terrific service ??
A Kansas City staple just down the street from KU med. No dining inside, so we ordered and ate at a table on the sidewalk. Just yummmmmm!!!! This place never disappoints meatball sub and a slice were delicious. Oh, and let's not forget the sour cream Apple crumb pie. Such a treat!!
Drove all the way there after confirming its open and you can eat there.Its only take out and you cant eat in the resteraunt just outside in the heat.I wont be back when there is no excuse to not be open and things are back to normal sept 27 2021.Its 90 degree today and we dont want to sit on the sidewalk and eat.And to be honest it used to be good but the last few times I've ate here they are putting next to no meat and toppings on overpriced pizza and sandwiches.We will find a new place as your done taking advantage of your old good reputation with me as your new reputation is a overpriced letdown always.
