It's a small, quaint restaurant, family owned and operated, I believe. Free chips and salsa, taco Tuesday special on tacos. Service was good, nothing to complain about. The queso dip was extremely runny, not great, just average. Hardshell beef tacos were very good and only 1.49 each on Tuesday. Decent Mexican restaurant with reasonable prices. View all feedback.
What Laura Lopez doesn't like about Las Playas In Blue Spr:
Tasted like a spoon of salt. Nice spot, food not good or not the polle del carmen at least that’s what I got and the “cheese dip” no flavor. Disappointing. View all feedback.
We got a quesadilla and tacos, it tastes like it was made at home, grease included. Not to say it wasn’t bad, just not the quality you’d expect from a Mexican restaurant that charges restaurant prices 4 tacos 1 quesadilla with cheese dip (very watery) costs $25. We got takeout but the restaurant itself has very small and cramped seating.

Hire some employees. Slow uninviting environment that makes you want to immediately walk out.
I enjoyed sitting inside to eat and stepping outside to finish my drink! Very relaxing place.
Horrible customer service. They refuse to actually assist people. Especially when they've ordered or are trying to order food to go from their website. They have no wait staff. The woman owner will literally walk past you instead of helping. Stop being so greedy and hire people. And if you can't hire people then increase your pay. Last time I will come here. Edit: They also forgot the side of beans I paid for. I also witnessed them refuse to sit a family(they had 2 open tables) because they were too busy. I guess they've never heard of staggering tickets or anything similar. The family walked out after 20 min. I waited 25 min past the time my order was supposed to be ready.
