This is my favorite spot for lunch when I visit my sister after shopping! I always enjoy her delicious chimichangas, quesadillas, and this time I tried her chicken soup. It was heavenly with tender pieces of white chicken breast, avocados, and rice in a flavorful broth with hints of cilantro and pico de gallo. I have never had a bad meal here and will definitely be back for more. Very good! Thank you! It's hidden awa... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Monte Alban:
The chips were not fresh and the salsa seemed premade. We ordered a dinner special that did not come with everything listed on the menu. We had to ask for tortillas and did not receive the rice. The dish had a strange taste and did not seem fresh. Additionally, we waited a long time between each visit from the waiter. View all feedback.
We thought here was an early dinner on Sunday, Mother's Day. we were immediately greeted and sitting, our drinks orders were quickly taken and filled. the free chips and salsa were both warm and fresh, great tasting salsa! pico de gallo was delivered immediately on request, it was very good. both my man and I ordered one of the house specialties it contained grilled ribeye, huh and chorizo with wobble; rice and beef plus tortillas accompanied the dish for $13.99 that was really hot and came straight from the grill to the table. all the aromen were excellent and the portions were great, I took over the half of me to house. the service was very friendly, the music festive and our whole eating was great. we are pleased that we have ignored the “not so great reviews” on trip advisor. this clean, festive restaurant is a certain must try for yourself! and note that they are open until after the usual 6pm dinner hour and they offer to take out.
Friendly staff and fast service! The food was delish!
Nice little restaurant turned on to by a customer. Had the tacos with steak and chorizo Diablo and was very well satisfied with my meal steak was tender tortillas were nicely done beans and rice for on par.
Overall ambience was average but nothing special. Has to asked for place settings twice and due to a bit of a language barrier things were incomplete in our order. We were a party of four and each of us had a different menu item, all were ok average at best but nothing that would motivate me to return.
Very friendly staff and very helpful. The chicken avocado soup is the best. We drink it all the time when we're not feeling well and when always helps us to come back 100
