La Dolce Bakery - Blue Island

This place is fantastic! The tres leches dessert is incredible, and everything else I've tried has been delicious as well. The grill menu is small but delightful! I enjoy my meals while enjoying the cozy atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and friendly. It's truly a gem in Blue Island!

I ordered the tres leches cake, but it tasted just like a typical Jewel-Osco cake—very low quality. I also had to pick it up around 3 PM, and it wasn’t even ready at that time.

This bakery and food spot is a must-visit! The food here is delightful, and they offer a variety of baked goods as well. Make sure to try their taco dinner for just $10, which includes two tacos of your choice, a side of rice and beans, and a free soda. These tacos are unmatched compared to everything else I’ve tried. The tacos al pastor come with fresh pineapple, and I highly recommend giving them a try. The sauces are fantastic too; the green sauce is mild, while the red is spicier, and both are delicious. Along with my taco dinner, I tried the Oreo cheesecake, and its rich, creamy flavor made me want seconds! The staff is very helpful and attentive as soon as you walk in.

I was told that this place made very good cake. I decided to give them an attempt. the cake I bought was too dirty and had too much filling. I didn't like it.

Way over priced! $6.00 dollars for one small burrito.. and they won't give you hot sauce if you don't ask.. won't go back again.. way to expensive! I should of went to Starbucks smdh!
