I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and our food arrived promptly. The staff checked in to ensure we had everything we needed, and they offered free refills while we were there. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.
The chicken was absolutely delicious! The biscuits were flaky and had a lovely homemade flavor. However, the potatoes and gravy fell short compared to my previous visits; they had a taste reminiscent of poor-quality instant potatoes. Unfortunately, I found the macaroni and cheese to be quite disappointing. The pasta was overcooked, and the cheese had an unpleasant powdery taste. Overall, that was the low point of the meal, which is why I rated it 4 stars instead of 5. There's definitely room for improvement!
KFC West, Bloomington: Sweet young lady at the drive through was so nice and amazing! I had a large order called them to let them know and they were prepared to have the order for me early! Hope they have the best day ever!
I'm writing this review to specifically highlight Carlos. Usually, our trips to KFC come with long waits, food shortages, unfriendly staff, or a combination of these issues. However, during this visit, we were pleasantly surprised by Carlos's exceptional customer service. Although there were some items unavailable, he communicated this to us in a very effective manner. I understand how challenging it can be to deliver disappointing news to customers, but he did so with a positive demeanor. At the window, he greeted us with a warm smile and maintained that cheerful attitude. When I complimented him, he responded with humility and kindness. I walked away thinking our world could use more of his positivity and friendliness. This was by far the best customer service we've experienced at KFC!
The chicken was cooked to perfection—so juicy and moist! The guy at the window was handling the workload of at least two people and did an amazing job! It's clear that there's a need for more workers everywhere. Overall, it was a great experience, though he did forget my honey. But given everything he was juggling with just himself and one other employee, I can't complain!
