Food is spicy, no mellowing down for Midwesterner taste buds: beware!
Very tasty Thai. Chicken Pad Thai was delicious and the service was quick and checked often to see if we needed anything.
Absolutely ridiculous. I have never experienced a worse customer service. This is the first time I 've seen a manager yelling and blaming a customer for the restaurant 's mistake. I have been eating their pad thai with the same spice level for weeks andnever had a problem. Ordered the same one today, and it came much spicier than usual to the point we could not eat it. I calledthe restaurant, and the manager immediately yelled at me. Told me to drink water , and asked me why I would order it if I couldnot handle the spice. When I told her I ordered the same level every time, she claimed I was lying . She would not listen tome, and continued yelling into the phone. Eventually she hung up the phone while I was talking, and when I called again, I wasmet with voice call. What an absolute shame. Good food, but the most awful manager. She needs to be changed.
Esan Thai consistently provides excellent service and a reliable, enjoyable dining experience. I particularly enjoy their curry and the variety of vegetables included in the menu. With the owners often present at the restaurant, you can always expect top-quality food.
The food is quite spicy and might not be ideal for those used to Midwestern flavors, so approach with caution!
