Very innovative place with conical shaped italian bread creations. All appetizers and sandwiches have creative names. The appetizer of corn fritters with honey butter was fantastic. My entree, the Russell Crowe, was parmesan crusted pork belly, crispy brussel sprout leaves, and pickled red cabbage was innovative and tasty. I visited this place a couple of weeks ago with a group of friends. From their website I got the impression that this was kind of a fancy place, however i was wrong, it's a regular bar/comfort food place with only a few beer options. There even wasn't a beer menu with the descriptions which it would have been helpful. The food was great, I loved the tasty shrimp po' boy. Our waiter that day was probably new because he didn't know the types of beer they had and made A few mistakes, but he was super nice and helpful. The worst part of my visit is that the Google directions were wrong and took me somewhere else a few blocks away, I had to ask people in other business how to get to braize.
Amazing fast service. Best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Come for the braizito, stay for the supporting cast of apps, sides and desserts. Can't go wrong here.

My entree, the Russell Crowe, was parmesan crusted pork belly, crispy brussel sprout leaves, and pickled red cabbage was innovative and tasty. Braise has a large al fresco dining area, as well as indoor seating. Many creative drink options. The only disappointment was the bread pudding dessert. Some parts were flavorful, but many areas of bread were very plain and hard to cut. Overall, a wonderfully creative dining option for Bloomington.
Food was good. Would definitely recommend to try out once. Loved the band playing songs there. It was great experience. You don't have like alot of stuff to eat. This place is mostly for drinks and hanging out, having a good time.
I had the lobster bisque, lobster rangoons, corn fritters with honey butter, and tasted the Rasta-4-Eye. The bisque had a lighter, briny broth instead of being a heavy creamy soup. This made it a nice accompaniment to the rangoons, with the flavor of the lobster shining through. The rangoons were sweet, light, and crispy with a delicious sweet chili sauce. The fritters reminded me of when my mom would make them years ago- they were delicious. The sandwich featured Jamaican jerked chicken and an amazing yellow curry sauce. The flavours complimented and accentuated each other. An amazing meal, friendly staff and great service. I can't wait to go back! Thank you!!!
