Roadside - Bloomfield
Roadside
Description
Nestled in a charming small-town setting, this restaurant offers a mix of diner classics and regional favorites like Navajo Tacos and sopapillas. Many diners praise the friendly, attentive staff and generous portions, noting the pleasant atmosphere and reasonable prices. Signature dishes such as the half-pound Bobcat Burger and spiral-cut fries are crowd-pleasers. However, experiences vary: some guests report slow service, bland or undercooked meals, and less-than-ideal cleanliness. Overall, this spot is recommended for those seeking affordable comfort food with warm hospitality, though occasional inconsistencies may affect the experience.

We stopped here on our way to Utah from texas. Lots of cars in the lot, so we decided to stop in. We were not disappointed. Typical diner food and service. We were greeted as soon as we sat down and given a dish of chips and salsa. That was a pleasant treat. The hostess brought our drinks, and told us the specials. Server came shortly thereafter to take our orders. I ordered the BLT with a side salad, hubby ordered the taco special. Food came promptly and it was very good. All in all, we were very satisfied.
Good eats, mostly Mexican food but also American, reasonably priced. It's quiet in the restaurant, tables are not jambed closely, booths are large. A nice place to stop for a basic meal on the way to Albuquerque from southwest Colorado.
Truly the nicest staff ever. We were looking for brunch and chose this place since it was near Salmon Ruins. Our party of 4 all grabbed sandwiches. The grilled cheeses, club and blt were wonderful. Get the fries swirl cut. They spiral what seemed to be a whole giant potato. My kid loved that she was finding pieces of fry longer than her face.
I ordered Navajo Taco and the fry bread was really flat and so unappetizing because the meat filling taste really bland and not fresh at all. I am sorry but orde your Navajo tacos from real authentic Navajos who sell on the side of the roads. Food: 1 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 1
We like Roadside Restaurant. Food is pretty good but the service is a lacking. Especially the people at the front register. If you call they rarely pick up the phone. When they do they put you on hold even when theyre not busy. I've been in the restaurant and the person assigned to the front is just listening to the phone ring. I've had my food sitting on the counter and have to wait 10-15 minutes for someone to acknowledge me. The cashier always heads to the kitchen as soon as she sees you at the counter. There aren't many decent places to eat and have few options. Ive worked in customer service for many years so believe me when I say I'm very patient but this has become an issue and we're beyond disappointed.
