Binh Duong - Bloomfield

The pho portions are small and the broth is inconsistent; sometimes it's delicious, but other times it's rather bland. My new favorite spot for pho in Rutherford is Pho Today. They offer generous meat portions and a flavorful broth.

This restaurant is fantastic. It has a cozy atmosphere, offers reasonable prices, and tends to be quite busy on weekends. You can tell it's authentic because many of the patrons come from the region the cuisine represents.

The pho here is delicious, but I wouldn't recommend the banh mi. The key component is the French baguette, and unfortunately, theirs is soggy and doesn’t taste freshly baked. I suggest going to a professional bakery for Vietnamese sandwiches instead. Also, the 5% discount for cash payments doesn't really make a difference from a consumer's point of view, as it applies to the post-tax prices. Using a 5% cash-back credit card would ultimately yield the same benefit.
