How many people have to approach the door with no explanation as to why it is locked? Delay in opening. Management should leave a sign for late openings/early closings. We have watched people stand in line for 10 minutes only to be informed-that there will be a 30 minute delay for counter service. This is the best Chipotle location I’ve ever visited! As a former Chipotle employee, I often compare different locations to the ones I worked at, and this one truly stands out. The food was incredibly fresh, the portion sizes were generous, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely come back here!
1) Twenty minutes after opening, the doors were still not unlocked, and the employees were nowhere to be found. 2) The workers informed each customer in line that they "are leaving a tip," which felt quite awkward. 3) The food was not prepared to standard. It seemed like the kitchen staff was in a hurry, but it wasn't until I tried my bowl that I realized there was so much salt in my rice that the grains wouldn’t dissolve. The bowl was inedible.
Chipotle offers a consistent dining experience across the country, so franchises need to differentiate themselves through excellent customer service. Unfortunately, this location falls short in that regard. The staff is quite rude, and it appears there are internal issues within the business. The owner seems indifferent to the problems and is just as unprofessional as the employees, which negatively impacts the younger staff members. Additionally, it feels like half the team isn’t even working. Why is it so difficult to find good management in Pontiac? To make matters worse, I avoid ordering online because they constantly mess up my orders. It’s a frustrating situation that just doesn’t improve.
Better. they are undermined every week. orders are incompatible, missing items, and last week my order just never came.
I'm not sure how this location stays in business. I've tried to order here on four different occasions. The first three times they were either closed during business hours, claimed they could only do online orders, or claimed their system was down. The fourth time the system was down initially but they were able to get it back up.If this location wasn't so close to my gym I would have given up after the 1st try.Only go here if you're willing to take the risk that you won't get any food.
