The restaurant is located just off the road... read more The atmosphere is decidedly cozy and invites a break in the middle of a day by the shores of the splendid Lake Bled. The restaurant is located just off the road that borders the entire lake, in the modern part of town, a short walk from the shopping area and the tourist office. The place is charming, decorated with antiques, in wood and iron, and the whole atmosphere is well taken care of. The service is friendly. The food is of good quality and the portions are generous. I recommend the fish: we had not tried a mixed grill that was brought to the table directly in a cooking container from which you can serve. There are also excellent desserts. Prices are moderate.

I put my poor around my friend and suddenly the waitress could hardly talk to us. she stopped talking when she told us the things that she had just thrown on the table and gave us rude look while she was still super friendly to other customers (as she was with us before she realized that we were gay.) the service was so bad that I actually felt upset. good eating, but would not return due to this experience.
