Restavracija Camping Bled

My experience at this restaurant was unfortunately disappointing. Originally told that the risotto (veg tofu) was vegan, we asked about dairy and egg ingredients, only to be met with uncertainty from the waiter. After requesting to check allergens, we were given a card that confirmed the dish contained dairy. The veggie burger with vegan mayo also unexpectedly contained egg. As a result, there were no vegan main options available. The only vegan choices were undercooked fried potatoes and a simple mixed salad with iceberg lettuce and a couple of tomato slices lacking seasoning or dressing. Despite the pleasant ambiance, the lack of vegan options and the need to clarify ingredients made for a less than satisfactory experience. Unfortunately, I would not return to this restaurant and believe the Happy Cow description should be updated.

I recently visited this restaurant and had a cup of coffee. They only offered rice milk as a non-dairy option, but it was delicious. Unfortunately, they were unable to froth it for a cappuccino. The view of the lake from the restaurant was great. I was also pleased to find decaf coffee on the menu, as I cannot have caffeine.

Just happy to find something vegan/vegetarian at our camping. The tofu dish was okay, it tasted healthy but not a lot of flavour. There are better ways to eat tofu.. the burger was a lot better, more flavours! In addition to ice cream, the restaurant here has two vegan options, one is a burger and one is a tofu based dish with cous cous and veggies, it was tasty! Also has rice milk for coffees Updated from previous review on 2022-07-09
