We are incredibly pleased that we decided to try this restaurant. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere made it feel like we were guests in Lala's own kitchen! We ordered the Pan con Lechon, the Ecuadorian dish, rice and beans, and some tostones. Everything was absolutely delicious. It’s such a delight to enjoy authentic Cuban cuisine in this mountain town! What Michelle G doesn't like about Lala's Kitchen In The Mountains:
We ended up awkwardly standing in this cramped area while the diners slowly gathered their belongings, creating an uncomfortable situation for everyone in our group. Ultimately, we decided to leave.
I’m giving this review three stars because their menu looked enticing and the food we could see appeared delicious—perhaps I would consider ordering takeout in the future. However, the staff's awkward behavior left a ne... View all feedback.

Dining area space was very small, felt crowded with patrons at every table. Food was good and owner was friendly.
We were visiting Blairsville and because my daughter loves rice and beans and the great reviews from this small business we decided to give it a try, very small inside but cute also has outdoor sitting. We ordered the “ropa vieja”, side of rice/beans with veggies for my daughter and a chicken avocado sandwich for myself, as soon as we took our first bite my wife and I look each other because we knew something was not right and as we kept eating it got worse, absolutely the worst taste of food we ever had even my daughter took one bite and didn’t want anymoreSo we decided to ask our server for the check right away as we needed to feed my daughter something else and quick, we paid our bill and left the server tip (as this is not his fault) ended up leaving half of my sandwich and pretty much everything else untouched as my wife only took 3 bites of her food, went across the street and ended up eating on a chain restaurant were food was delicious.I really don’t know how this place has good reviews and visiting from Miami this is got to be the worst latin food I ever had.Edit: my wife just confirmed it was ropa vieja what she ordered and Not chimichanga.
Adorable spot a block from our hotel. Food was fresh and very tasty! I had the Ecuadorian sandwich with goat cheese and will be craving it hereafter!
