Doc's - Blairsville
Doc's
Description
Nestled in Blairsville’s mountains, this compact Greek spot has earned praise for exceptional gyros, fresh pita, house sauce, Greek fries, hummus and a standout burger. Patrons applaud the clean, welcoming atmosphere and authentic flavors that make it a local favorite and worthy stop for visitors. However, limited hours and menu breadth, plus reports of long waits and uneven, sometimes brusque service, suggest great food but occasional service drawbacks.

The food was delicious, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the restaurant was spotless! I tried the beef and lamb gyro, and it was fantastic! The pita was warm and incredibly fresh! The Greek fries are a must-try, and the fresh feta on top is out of this world! I will definitely be returning—thank you for the wonderful service!
The gyros here are delicious and quite large for about $9. The Greek fries served with green sauce were tasty, but there weren't enough of them in one order.
The service was very friendly, and the handmade Greek-style fries were delicious and cooked to perfection.
My first visit to the restaurant was fantastic, but unfortunately, our second visit was quite disappointing. We waited an hour and fifteen minutes for our food, which wasn't the main issue. When we were offered a complimentary pastry to share due to the wait, I simply asked if we could have our own. The staff member reacted rudely, snatched the pastry away, and said that if we were unhappy, we couldn’t have it at all. To make matters worse, he refused to refund our money despite my repeated requests. I have no intention of returning. The women working there were very kind, but it seems the owner lacks basic customer service skills. We never complained during our wait and didn’t deserve the attitude and disrespect, especially after waiting so long for an overcooked and overpriced cheeseburger.
