We go there sometimes when in Blairsville. I like the retro diner atmosphere and it is a big enough place that they don’t fill up fast. I ordered a pancake stack of three and found that one would have been sufficient; the pancakes were served on a regular size plate and literally drooped over the edges. They were monstrous. A fun place. View all feedback.
What Emanuel Quitzon doesn't like about Blairsville's Skillet Café:
Food was good. Ate breakfast two days in a row. Seated quickly both days. Food takes a long time getting to table. Second day we were seated, got our drinks, watched 9 people that came in after us have there order taken. Had to ask for our order to be taken.. Waitress brought our food, ask if we needed napkins we said yes and NEVER SAW HER AGAIN. View all feedback.
I enjoy exploring local eateries, so I decided to stop by this restaurant and sit at the counter. It's a charming place with a cozy, nostalgic vibe, reminiscent of the 1950s, and they serve delicious homemade dishes. When I left, I felt like I had known the server for years—she was friendly and funny, and we simply enjoyed our meal together without any fuss. I highly recommend checking it out!
This is an absolutely fantastic place to dine. The staff is fast, friendly, and courteous. It feels like a community gathering for breakfast, as everyone seems to know one another. The food is delicious, and I especially love the pancakes—always hot and fresh, served with a smile.
We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast with excellent service, even though the restaurant was packed during the holidays when we arrived. We all ordered breakfast at 11 AM, and everything was delightful. The portions were generous—much more than anyone in our group could finish! The staff was attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. If you're nearby, definitely stop in for some great food and service.
Staff was super friendly. There was a line in front of us but we were seated quickly. The pancakes didn't disappoint. They were HUGE. This definitely goes on our favorites list.
Always great food and service! we always stop to breakfast, although they have a quite extensive lunch / dinner menu. Eating is always hot and properly cooked. the best pancakes. they take up the whole plate, and I have no idea how someone could eat three, I ordered two and couldn't finish them. the prices are very reasonable and given the food and service, their worth is hard to beat.
